For years we have tried to find a shoe that is representative of our culture and heritage and truly reflects the African experience, while displaying the various totems of the many tribes on the continent. Finally I have created a blend that encompasses Urban America with the African Diaspora that identifies a shoe set apart from all others with a primitive and contemporary look and feel at the same time.

Throughout Africa there are many tribes and many cultures that are indigenous from country to country. Tribal Footwear has taken an eclectic approach to creating an ascetic that expresses the heritage of those tribes and their creative apparel as translated through our “Tribal Footwear” designs.

Urban Black America has always expressed underlying tones of Africa in many of our urban fashion trends that communicate our connection to our origins. The harmony of both cultures are a perfect blend, a beat of a different drum has always translated in the form of design follows function.
